We are delighted to announce that we have chosen SIFA Fireside as our charity to work with throughout Christmas and the New Year. SIFA is a charity that supports the homeless and helps vulnerable people get back on their feet.
SIFA Fireside are a Birmingham based charity that was established in the 1980’s. They and other charities collaborate together in order to provide vulnerable adults with access to multiple service’s all in one place. Over the years their services have evolved which has enabled individuals to rebuild healthier and more settled lives. Their vision is “To become synonymous with enabling homeless and vulnerable people to take control, and to catch those that may otherwise fall through the net.”
As these Charities become one, they support clients from the recovery effect of homelessness. From essential services such as the Tenancy Support Services, Adult Support Hub and the essential needs met through their Drop-in Centre, these range of services exist to stand by people while they rebuild their lives with safety and dignity.
As we now enter the cold Winter months and the temperature is dropping, we are looking for donations to help the charity, no cash but essential items such as food and clothing. The charity is currently desperately in need of:

– Scarves
– Sleeping Bags
– Blankets
– Old duvets
